Endurance Racing is a team effort requiring at least two riders and pit crew to complete a 3, 6 , 8 or 24 hour event. Events are held internationally across North America as well as regionally.

In the past, endurance races where a test of a machines ability to complete the timed event. Today they have turned in to lengthy sprint races requiring riders and equipment to be in top shape.

Pit stops and a rider change are usually scheduled every hour

In 1996 I rode the FZR400 #191 Jamie and I finished 10th in class out of a field of 50 bikes

My most memorable experience: When I decided to pass another rider on the right just as Don Monroe, National Champion decided to pass me on the right. We had a brief coming together. I lost my entire front brake assembly from my handlebar, and entered the next corner without brakes.

Seen here passing on the outside after realizing earlier in the race just how fast you could really take this corner without brakes! (see sidebar)
